The option of Western medicine that primarily offers the following therapeutic elements:
1 - Chemotherapy
2 - Radiotherapy
3 - SurgeryB - Ayurvedic Medicine as an option to treat Cancer
The option of Ayurvedic medicine that primarily offers the following therapeutic elements:
1 - Ayurvedic herbs
2 - Herbal juices
3 - Special diets

5 - Yoga
6 - Mantra therapy
7 - Meditation
8 - Lifestyle rulesHow can the cancer patient make his/her therapeutic choice?
In all cases, the therapeutic choice for the treatment of cancer should consider the following:
- The general condition of the individual
- The age of the individual
- The location of the cancer
- The stage of the cancer
Additional factors that may influence the therapeutic choice are the following:
1 - The cancer patient cannot at all trust an Ayurvedic medicine that he does not know at all.
In this case, he may begin or continue his cancer treatment only by allopathic medicine, either in his country or in one of our cancer centres (which offer both allopathic medicine and Ayurvedic medicine).
And then, the cancer patient has 4 choices:
- Either he waits for the end of the treatment of his cancer by allopathic medicine to decide, as per the results obtained, to move under the care of Ayurvedic medicine;
- Either, concurrently with the treatment of his cancer by allopathic medicine, he decides, at any time, to 'complete' the allopathic treatment with Ayurvedic cares as complementary or supportive treatment;
- Either, concurrently with the treatment of his cancer by allopathic medicine, he decides, at any time, to move under the care of Ayurvedic medicine as an alternative treatment;
- Or, during or after treatment with allopathic medicine, whatever the results obtained, he remains, by his deep convictions or 'his principles', refractory to Ayurvedic medicine (this is not uncommon)!
2 - The cancer patient has heard about the benefits of Ayurvedic medicine but does not sufficiently know about it to 'take any risks'.
In this case, he can start or continue his cancer treatment only by allopathic medicine, either in his country or in one of our cancer centres (which offer both allopathic medicine and Ayurvedic medicine).
And then, the cancer patient has 2 choices:
- Either, concurrently with the treatment of his cancer by allopathic medicine, he decides, at any time, to 'complete' the allopathic treatment with Ayurvedic cares as complementary or supportive treatment;
- Or, concurrently with the treatment of his cancer by allopathic medicine, he decides, at any time, to move under the care of Ayurvedic medicine as an alternative treatment.
3 - The cancer patient knows very well the benefits of Ayurvedic medicine and would willingly take advantage of it.
In this case, he has the choice, at any time, to decide to opt for or to move under the care of Ayurvedic medicine as an alternative treatment.
Some Precisions
- Surgery, chemotherapy, radiotherapy and other treatments offered by allopathic medicine are similar point by point to those recommended by Ayurveda.
- There is, thus, no conflict between the two systems.
- An Ayurvedic doctor confidently send his patients to his colleagues practicing allopathic medicine to provide these different procedures.
- There is a sound and scientific association between allopathic medicine and Ayurvedic medicine.
Ayurvedic treatments against cancer are offered in three forms:
1. As alternative treatment
- Ayurvedic medicine only, without continuation of allopathic treatments.
2. As complementary treatment
For those who chose Ayurvedic medicine as complementary treatment, therapeutic approaches are:
- Continuation of allopathic treatments;
- Specific medication for the type of cancer and symptoms; and
- Medication intended to fight against side effects of chemotherapy and radiotherapy.
3. As supportive treatment
For those who chose Ayurvedic as supportive treatment, therapeutic approaches are:
- Continuation of allopathic treatments;
- Medication intended to fight against side effects of chemotherapy and radiotherapy; for example, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, constipation, hair loss and skin spots.
- Medication to stimulate the immune system.
